Got questions? Our team at James Deep Law is ready with clear, comprehensive answers to guide you through every step of your real estate journey.
Do I need to bring any identification for notarization?
Yes, you will need to bring two pieces of valid, government-issued photo ID to your notary appointment for identity verification purposes (Health cards not accepted).
How should I prepare my documents before the appointment?
Ensure that all documents are complete and do not sign them beforehand, as the notary must witness your signature.
How long does a notarization appointment usually take?
The length of the appointment can vary, but most notarizations are completed within 10-15 minutes.
What should I do if my document requires witnesses?
If your document requires witnesses, you have two options. You can bring your own witnesses, ensuring they are present with valid ID for the notarization. Alternatively, we can provide a witness for you.
